Excellence In Housewares Awards 2022: Retailer Category finalists revealed

HousewaresNews.net is delighted to announce the retailer finalists for the Excellence in Housewares Awards 2022. The retailer awards cover the whole spectrum of the housewares industry, including physical stores and online, independents, multiples, department stores, garden centres, supermarkets, and incredible individual retail employees.

The finalists were arrived at following extensive polling across the sector, which saw both a volume of nominations from suppliers, reps and agents as well as self- nominations and submissions from retailers themselves.

The winners will be revealed at a lavish event on the evening of Wednesday 5 October 2022 at the Royal Lancaster London, fully supported by trade associations BHETA and Bira, plus by trade shows including Ambiente, Exclusively and The Inspired Home Show in Chicago, and backed by leading suppliers across the housewares sector.

“We are thrilled to announce the EIH 2022 retail finalists, following such extensive nominations from housewares suppliers and very impressive submissions from retailers,” commented Jo Howard, editor of Progressive Housewares and HousewaresNews.net (organisers of The Excellence in Housewares Awards). “It’s wonderful to see the involvement across all areas of the industry, and it is awe-inspiring to see how retailers are excelling across the board. This fantastic line-up reflects the ingenuity, energy, creativity, and proactivity of diverse retailers, both large and small, physical, and online: all bringing essential and inspirational housewares products to the consumer and fuelling the nation’s passion for cooking and home organisation.”

Rob Willis, director at Max Publishing added: “Following some seriously tough,  indeed impossible at times, trading conditions in recent years – it’s clear to see that housewares retailers are in a league of their own when it comes to setting a standard for viable, in-demand and on-trend retailing experiences for consumers – I applaud the efforts not just of those making the finals, but the industry as a whole.”
