Exclusively brings international buyers together with exhibitors

Buyers from over 20 international retailers joined over 45 exhibitors at a Meet the Buyer event at Exclusively 2024.

Retailers from South Africa to the Channel Islands, met with exhibitors in a sell-out Meet The Buyer (MTB) event and drinks reception on the first evening of Exclusively (Monday 10 June).

The export event was organised by exhibition owner, BHETA alongside the Exclusively team, to ensure international customers enjoyed quality time with potential suppliers during their visit to the main show on the Tuesday and Wednesday.

The MTB event was structured around ten-minute networking appointments in a format akin to business ‘speed dating’.

International buyers arrived from Spain, Germany, France and Scandinavia, as well as further afield and included El Corte Ingles, Orbit Trade, Kurstermann, Best Direct, Toc, TV Shopping, Briscapo, and Nature Et Decouvertes.

The leading showcase for new products and future trends, Exclusively is the perfect chance for international tableware, kitchenware, gift and small domestic electricals buyers to see the best products from the leading brands all in one place. The show has a reputation for predicting commercial trends and a proven track record for enabling buyers to access the best ready for Christmas 2024 and up to five years beyond.

Insightful trend predictions proved a particular draw for many of the international buyers with trend tours from trend forecaster, Scarlet Opus, particularly popular.

Chair of Exclusively and chief executive officer of show organiser, BHETA Will Jones said: “The international MTB element of Exclusively continues to gain in popularity, it is very encouraging to see overseas customers attendance at the show increasing year on year as this all helps to support exhibitor export aspirations.”

Daniel Kullmann, head of corporate marketing and communications at EK Service Group from Germany, who organised a German delegation, said: “This was once again an excellent Exclusively Show. The visit was very worthwhile for the German retailer delegation – and we had fun too.”
