October 2022: SDAs

In the first of the new Featuring… monthly special focuses from HousewaresNews.net, we take a look at the Small Domestic Appliances sector – that’s SDAs to you housewares industry pros out there.

SDAs are a vital sub-sector in the overall market, with a very solid past decade of innovation, heightened and excited with trends and fads – who didn’t cook banana bread in 2020? The width and scope of this area is notable. At last week’s Excellence In Housewares awards it was the size and functionality of Dualit’s baby maker that score top place, whilst the fight for air fryer sales shows no sign of abating.
