Fenwick and Next have reopened for online sales this week (April 14 and 15) with selected lines including housewares. The retailers have adapted to ensure staff can safely pick and dispatch orders in line with the government’s social distancing guidelines.
Fenwick told its customers ‘that we have significantly altered the way in which orders are picked and packed so that a small number of colleagues who are willing and able to return to work can do so.’
The retailer’s initial edited collection includes kitchen electricals from KitchenAid, Nespresso and Cuisinart, and the Veritable Indoor Garden from Haus.
Next has selected to reopen online sales for a wide range of home and housewares – recognising demands and needs during lockdown – alongside children’s clothes, lounge wear and maternity clothes. Products available to order include tableware, kitchen accessories and utility products.
The retailer is dispatching a limited number of orders each day with a limited number of warehouse workers who have volunteered to return, adhering to strict safety measure.
