Forma House has shared its ‘Brexit plan’ with stockists to avoid any negative repercussions following the UK’s exit from the EU. The distributor (whose brands include Sagaform, Eva Solo and Cookut from the EU) urges customers to place forward orders via its website, which can be scheduled for delivery months in advance.
Forma House has also provided an incentive for stockists who order by Wednesday (March 13). Those that place an order for £700 by the deadline will receive a set of six ‘Brexit bowls’ by Sagaform. The Britain-shaped serving bowls (hitherto called Brit bowls) are ideal for summer entertaining, are oven safe and packaged in gift boxes.
Simon Maghnagi, business development manager explains that advance orders will enable Forma House to “manage stock expectation and ensure we have availability on all product lines.” He reflects that the renaming of the Brit Bowl is to bring a little humour to the political situation.
Sagaform also produces a Sweden bowl that might appeal to Remainers wanting to populate their tabletop with a friend from the EU.
