Following the recent sad news of the death of housewares sales agent David Jarrett, David’s family has confirmed that his funeral will place on Thursday March 7 at 11.30am at Weston-super-Mare Crematorium
It is open to all members of the housewares industry wishing to pay their respects to the much-loved sales agent. The address for the crematorium is: Ebdon Road, Worle, Weston-super-Mare, BS22 9NY.
The service will be followed by a wake in the village hall where David enjoyed a drink with friends: Claverham Village Hall, Bishops Road, Claverham, Bristol BS49 4NF.

David’s career in the housewares industry included T&G and his own company, Avanti Housewares prior to over a decade as sales agent for many leading suppliers.
Among the many tributes to David are the following words from fellow sales agent, Kam Loqueman: “My friend and confidant for over a decade, words cannot express how much I’ll miss David – especially our meals out at shows, where we chewed the fat of the industry and usually a good steak. For someone who was heard of hearing, he was a fantastic listener! David was full of support and encouragement through hard times and praise through good times, and was such a dedicated servant to the housewares industry. He leaves behind a legacy of a wealth of love and good feelings towards him. He was a true gentleman.”
