Registration is now open for Connect FALL – a virtual event organised by the IHA (International Housewares Association) – running from September 27- October 1. The event includes the much-anticipated ‘Winning Visual Clicks’ presentation by visual merchandising guru and gia (Global Innovation Award) expert juror Anne Kong (Wednesday September 29 at 4.30-5.30pm UK time (ie 10.30am-11.30 US CT).
Anne invites housewares and home retailers to: “Join me for a new directive on Designing Windows 2022 as we consider the techniques and tactics most effective for today’s marketplace.” Her presentation will include the announcement of the gia Top Window Award 2021 winners. Countries from all around the world – including the UK (read more HERE) – have submitted nominees for outstanding windows.
Other forward-thinking presentations during Connect FALL include: ‘Are You Ready for 2030? Imminent Lifestyle Shifts Will Change the Experiences of Home’ with Sphere Trending’s Susan Yashinsky and Mandi Mankvitz, who will explore trends and strategies accelerated by the pandemic and poised to create the new-normal of 2030.

* Anne Kong is an educator and designer specialising in Visual Merchandising, Exhibition Design and Special Events. With over 20 years of experience, she works to develop design concepts and solutions for retail, showrooms, trade shows, and promotional events. Anne co-authored the 7th edition of Visual Merchandising and Display for Bloomsbury Publishing with Martin M Pegler. Anne is Associate Professor and Programme Coordinator for the Visual Presentation and Exhibition Design Programme at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
