Ninja, Salter, Breville, Cosori and Philips are among those making the list of Good Housekeeping’s top 15 air fryers.
The experts at the Good Housekeeping Institute have been cooking up a feast to find the best air fryers. Depending on the capacity and type of air fryer, they either roast a whole chicken, or cook chicken Kyivs, monitoring how long it takes the chicken to reach 75c.
The team then judges the results, looking for crispy, golden skin and moist meat. They then cook chips, looking for quick cooking, well-browned and crunchy skins, with fluffy interiors. Finally, they make fairy cakes, to judge how well the appliance can bake.
Each air fryer is then scored overall according to ease of use, performance, design, instructions and information.
