The 2020 edition of Home & Gift will now take place on the July 18-21 2021. Last week it was announced that the Harrogate Convention Centre (venue for the July show) will be the site of another NHS Nightingale Hospital (in addition to ExCel in London and the NEC in Birmingham).
“Like many of you, all of us are devastated by the requirement to postpone Home & Gift for the first time in its 60-year history,” says show director Kelly Grant of organiser Clarion Events. “Our absolute priority is to safeguard the health and welfare of all those involved in our events and, therefore, we acknowledge that this postponement is a necessity, given both the material and ongoing disruption caused by the current pandemic and the latest public health and government directions.”
Kelly says that the 2021 edition “and will be a special opportunity for the community to come together in better times.” It will include the 60th anniversary party and enhanced ShopTalk speaker programme.
In the meantime, Home & Gift is providing buyers (including many cookshops and housewares retailers) with virtual product launches and regular blog updates including inspiring brand stories and expert advice.
