Housewares retailers among The Greats winners

The winners of the Greats 2020 awards for the UK’s best gift retailers include several housewares stockist, including Independent Gift Retailer of the Year – South West Cilla and Camilla, who shops include its Cookshop in Sherborne and home and gift stores in Bridport and Beaminster.

On hearing the good news during the virtual Awards ceremony on September 30, Cilla and Camilla’s owner Richard Barker enthused: “We’re delighted to be winners.”

Barkers and Barkers Home, Northallerton were thrilled to be jointly crownedBest Department Store Retailer of Gifts. The retailer is currently integrating gift goods into its well-stocked Cookshop in Northallerton High Street.

Other winners that include housewares among their gift offering include The Hollies, Little Budworth, winning Best Non-Specialist Retailer of Gifts (the category’s finalists included La Cookshop, Blagdon), RHS Garden Wisley Gift Shop, winning Best Museum Or Visitor Attraction Gift Shop, and Blue Diamond Group (winning Best Garden Centre Retailer of Gifts).

The Greats are organised by Max Publishing’s Progressive Gifts and Home and GiftsandHome.net.
