Housewares sector recruitment opportunities

A number of new housewares and gift sector positions have opened up via the jobs-board on HousewaresNews.net, the digital news channel for the homewares sector.

JVL Homeware Solutions is looking for a territory manager for its Northern customer base, as part of it’s busy sales team. The right candidate will be managing a specified area in the North of England. The company is an importer of mats, basket-ware, cleaning utensils and other homeware products, with a large independent and retailer customer base. The position will involve managing and growing existing accounts, while seeking out new business opportunities. One of the key attributes it is looking for is someone who is able to look for new business areas on the fringe or outside of its regular account base.

On the digital front, Burton McCall is seeking its next e-commerce sales executive. An exciting opportunity exists to join its sales team, with the location being dependent on the successful candidate. The candidate must be detail-oriented, a team player with knowledge of developing strategies and tactics to drive sales. It is looking to fill this position with a true Amazon expert with experience of either Vendor or Seller Central and optimising listings. Applicants must have a plan for organizing and working alongside its Amazon account manager initially to support managing its Amazon account and making strategic plans to drive significant growth.

Over on the gift side of the market, Stoneglow Candles is looking for a new sales agent for Southern Ireland. Stoneglow Candles is a leading manufacturer and supplier of quality home fragrance products, manufacturing in the UK. Its growth in recent years has been significant and it is now seeking an established and professional sales agent to develop its business in Southern Ireland. The successful candidate will have an established customer base, including quality gift and interiors stores, garden centres, department stores and pharmacies. An understanding of the home fragrance market naturally would be an advantage. A generous commission package together with full training and product support will be provided.
