Ignacio Lopez to host the Excellence in Housewares Awards 2024

Comedian, Ignacio Lopez has been confirmed as the host of the Excellence in Housewares Awards 2024.

Ignacio (pictured) will be in charge of the evening’s proceedings at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London tomorrow evening, Wednesday 2 October, 2024. The comedian was particularly excited to host the Excellence in Housewares Awards, given his culinary influences from being a Mallorcan-born man, now living in the UK.

Ignacio is a Spanish and Welsh comedian, based in Cardiff. His family is made up of Spanish, Welsh, Irish, Moroccan and Germans. He says family get-togethers are like a meeting of the U.N.

Branded Spain’s Best Export by the Spanish Embassy and Office of Culture in the UK, Ignacio has appeared on TV shows including Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News For You, Comedy Central Live, and more.

As well as hosting on TV, headlining top comedy clubs all over the UK and Europe, and joking about British people directly to their faces, Ignacio also writes sketches and sitcoms.

Having performed for the Wales football squad, opened for James Dean Bradfield of Manic Street Preachers, entertained the military and hosted comedy and corporate events around the world, at last count (probably this morning) Ignacio’s videos have received over 100 million views online.
