“A huge thank you” goes out to all of the exhibitors at Exclusively who donated products to Progressive Housewares’ charity initiative with In Kind Direct. The impressive total value of products donated was estimated at over £5000. These items are already making a huge positive impact, supporting 79 charitable organisations In Kind Direct’s network.
Delivered to In Kind Direct after the show with the support of Progressive Housewares magazine and AMPM Transportation, products have now been distributed in London and across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Organisations that are benefitting from the product donations include community groups, family welfare and children’s charities, disability support organisations, homelessness projects, and more.
Orthex packed up its entire stand – including Gastromax BIO Plastic tableware and SmartStore Home Storage – to donate to In Kind Direct at the end of the Exclusively Show (August 24-25, Islington Business Design Centre). DKB Household donated a large quantity of Cole & Mason Derwent Salt and Pepper sets, while DMD donated a collection of beautiful tabletop essentials by The English Tableware Company.
In Kind Direct is a UK charity who believe everyone deserves access to life’s essentials and that no usable product should go to waste.
