INDX show’s exciting plans

Next month sees the return of the INDX Housewares & Linens show at the Cranmore Park Conference and Exhibition Centre in Solihull (July 13-14). The show has announced a new dedicated exhibition space for Tabletop & Home Gifts, as well as new show experiences, including trends presentations.

Curated by expert buying group AIS (Associated Independent Stores), the February edition of INDX Housewares & Linens was supported by over 100 brands and over 600 buyers. Returning exhibitors include Denby, Portmeirion Group, Arthur Price, Le Creuset and Brita.

In a series of retail focused presentations at July’s show, Phil Pond from trend forecasting agency Scarlet Opus will explore future product and consumer trends, as well as discussing buying behaviour and purchasing patterns. The show will also feature wine tasting with Olly Smith, using his glasses by Stolzle Lausitz, live product demonstrations and an after-show drinks party.

Reflecting on the February edition of the show, which was the first time both Housewares and Linens came together for one joint exhibition, Rachel Breen, AIS’ head of homewares comments: “We’re thrilled to have had such a positive reaction to our last show – uniting our housewares and linens communities resulted in an extremely upbeat two days, with plenty of business being written. It was an absolute pleasure to host such a busy show and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another exciting edition in July!”

Among those with high praise for the last show is Chris Melia at Taylors Eye Witness, stating: INDX Housewares & Linens is a must-visit multi category homewares show for all serious buyers.”
