Indy Best highlights CellarDine corkscrews

CellarDine md Peter Dunne is delighted that two of his corkscrews feature in The Independent newspaper’s ‘8 best corkscrews that open bottles with ease’ (December 23); both are stocked by Lakeland.

CellarDine’s traditional winged corkscrew is praised for its durability, having ‘survived 15 years of heavy duty use’ in reviewer Joanne Gould’s house.

Meanwhile, the ‘good quality’ lever-action model is highlighted for ‘anyone who struggles with – or simply dislikes – opening wine using a turning or wing mechanism,’ as the lever does ‘all the work.’

The Indy Best Buy went to the ‘fuss-free, low cost’ Stellar Copper Deluxe Corkscrew (Horwood), while models from Brabantia, Kikkerland and Le Creuset were also in the line-up. Coravin’s innovative wine preserving device was also featured.
