“Our new cast iron wok is designed especially for creating sensational curries and stews but also works wonders for deep frying just about anything, from chicken to shrimp or vegetable tempura to croquettes as well as sweet treats such as banana fritters,” explains Bryony Dyer, managing director of Dexam. “The wok is designed with a curved shape to pool liquids towards the centre which has the added benefit of saving on oil whilst deep frying.”
Bryony adds: “Although cast iron takes a while to heat up, it is great for retaining heat and slow cooking delicious meals. The wok has been pre-seasoned ready for use and is perfect for cooking on the hob or in the oven and comes with sturdy handles for easy lifting. “
