Anna Berry, head of buying for Cook, Dine, Gifts and Seasonal for the John Lewis Partnership will talk to housewares suppliersin a webinar hosted by BHETA on October 14. The online event is part of the association’s packed Autumn programme.
October’s JLP forum will provide an overview of the retailer’s recent changes and insights into how suppliers can best work with the department store.
Focusing on export opportunities on October 8, BHETA will host a webinar with senior trade advisors from the Czech Republic, providing an overview of the housewares and DIY markets, potential pitfalls and expert advice.
The impact of Brexit and customs rates will be discussed on October 21 October in a webinar by service provider DACHSER (a world leading provider of logistics and supply chain management).
On October 29, Keith Warren from the Foodservice Equipment Association (previously known as CESA) will talk about the catering and foodservice markets and the opportunities for BHETA members.
BHETA is also running a session on commercial strategy with JDS Strategists and five more mini training sessions in its series of webinars presented by Brew and Brookes & Co, helping members to develop their digital capabilities.
This week (September 24) saw a presentation by GlobalData on the market figures for the home enhancement sector for Q2 2020.
Commenting on the Autumn programme, BHETA’s marketing manager Steve Richardson said, “The webinar formula is now an established part of our member support programme. Numbers of attendees growing with every event and the quality of advice is excellent and wide-ranging. I urge all BHETA members to participate.”
