Lifetime Brands announces price decreases

More than 330 products have had their prices lowered by up to 60%, including bestselling items across flagship brands.

At a time of year when businesses need to make the most of consumer demand, Lifetime Brands has made cost price reductions on a range of bestselling products across brands including S’Well and KitchenAid, as well as new lower prices on Taylor scales, timers and thermometers and Chef’n tools and gadgets.

Matthew Canwell, managing director for Lifetime Brands, commented: “We have always been clear that we will do everything we can to resist cost price pressure. Through tactical purchasing and our scope and scale with the US business, we have been able to reduce our prices on these key brands and are hoping this will lead the market in reassessing their prices going forward.

“Many of these brands are currently performing exceptionally strongly. With the price reductions, we’re confident it will drive even greater rate of sales for us all. We’ve held our prices on the remainder of our ranges for the past year and intend to continue to do so.”

Lifetime Brands has also been named as finalist in each of the Excellence in Housewares Supplier Awards – Excellence in Service; Excellence in Marketing; and Excellence in Product Development. Matthew continued: “It is without doubt a great achievement to be nominated in any of these categories principally because it is out customers who vote for us. It means the world to us all at Lifetime, so thank you.”
