American department store chain, Macy’s has launched a range of homewares inspired by Goodful – the wellbeing and self-care lifestyle brand from digital news and media company BuzzFeed. Macy’s is encouraging consumers to ‘Keep wellness top of mind during the holidays’ with the new collection, which ‘provides simple, intentional steps to live better.’
The range includes a wide selection of kitchenware including ceramic-coated cookware, stackable tableware, tools and gadgets, preparation bowls and knives, as well as an infusion jug and a hygge-style kettle. There is also a countertop indoor garden for growing herbs by AeroGarden. Other suppliers that have contributed to the range include Cuisinart and Epoca. Bed linen also forms part of the Goodful by Macy’s portfolio.
On launching the new Goodful range, Roberson Keffer, vice president fashion director, home at Macy’s highlighted the synergy between Goodful and Macy’s customers. He commented: “This is the perfect marriage where trend and opportunity really come together.”
Appealing to a core of social media-focused younger consumers, some of Macy’s stores have an Instagrammable wall in the Goodful area.
