MasterClass (from KitchenCraft) has launched MasterClass Junior, a live ‘cook along’ for kids with top chef Peter Sidwell. The initiative aims to nurture the skills of budding young chefs by getting kids helping to prepare meals at home, learning easy recipes and having fun taking part, as well as learning about food. Featured recipes include family favourites such as cheesy pasta, fun fish Friday and wacky pizza.
‘Now is absolutely the right moment to get kids cooking and learning a new skill,” states Claire Budgen, commercial and marketing director at Lifetime Brands Europe. “Lockdown is a great excuse to get in the kitchen with the kids to whip up amazing dinners for the family, in just 30 minutes.”
The MasterClass with Peter Sidwell cook a longs started on Monday January 18, cooking live every Monday, Wednesday and Friday on Facebook @MasterClasskitchen from 5pm – 5.30pm. The sessions will also be available on MasterClass YouTube.
Peter puts MasterClasses’ range of cookware, bakeware and kitchenware accessories through its paces as he cooks. Families who cook along are encouraged to share photos of their creations: hashtag #MasterClassJuniorCookAlong
