More third-party home and housewares brands will be launched at own brand retailer Marks & Spencer, confirms Heidi Woodhouse, M&S director of Home and Furniture, as well as some “really exciting collaborations.”
As in other areas of the business, adding a few “strong third-party brands” into the Home mix has been an exciting development on M&S.com, featuring big names including Joseph Joseph, OXO and Kilner.
Heidi acknowledges that, although M&S has strong expertise in many of the same categories: “customers don’t shop exclusively with one brand,” and can now “buy brands they love from their favourite retailer.”
She reports: “The recent launch of Denby has been incredibly successful and is really resonating. We are also reviewing how we bring these fantastic brands to life in store, alongside our own fantastic homeware.” Summing up, Heidi adds: “We want to ensure we are bringing our customers the best of the best, bringing on-board brands who have real authenticity in this space, with amazing product ranges which can complement our own.”
