Be seen to be clean! New EIH award for Home Organisation

The Excellence in Housewares Awards 2022 see the launch of a new category Excellence in Home Organisation. Covering utility sectors, the award recognises innovations in cleaning and floor care (including electrical), laundry and non-food organisation such as dish racks, non-food containers and waste bins.  

EIH trans“The fine arts of domestic cleaning and home organisation have escalated in consumers’ priorities over the past few years, and this has been mirrored and encouraged by product innovation,” acknowledges Jo Howard, editor of Progressive Housewares, organiser of The Excellence in Housewares Awards. “We are delighted to recognise these important and vibrant sectors with a dedicated new Award which will also see the addition of new additions to the judging panel, comprising buyers who are experts in this particular area of housewares”

As with other product awards, entries need to be launched at retail between June 18 2021 and June 17 2022.
Product, retail and supplier awards finalists will be featured in the July/August issue of Progressive Housewares magazine. Winners will be revealed at The Excellence in Housewares Awards night on Wednesday October 5 at The Royal Lancaster London. Rob Willis, coo at Max Publishing which owns and organisers the event said: “It’s so exciting to be working towards the housewares industry’s favourite night of the year. There’s an interesting journey ahead as our tough judging stages take place, with no product or brand able to escape the scrutinising eyes of our industry expert judges, but what we get at the end is the best of the best, culminating an evening that really is loved and looked forward to by everyone in this incredible sector.”
