Nostalgic trend continues as Thermos partners with Urban Outfitters

Traditional plaid flasks in iconic colours hit shelves of the lifestyle retailer, as nostalgic revival spiral trend continues.

Thermos has announced a new stockist for its Revival and Retro products, as sales for the nostalgia-inspired products soar. Urban Outfitters is now stocking the Revival range, which is a replica of an original flask design from the 60s, mirroring the original patterns and colourways.

The retailer is also stocking the Retro range, which is a fresh take on some of the original Thermos flasks, going back to the brand’s heritage.

Over the last six months, sales of the two ranges have soared by 187% as Gen Z and others embrace the retro take combined with modern technology. As well as being available online, the ranges are delivering exceptional sales results with Paul Smith and Freemans Grattan.

Head of sales at Thermos UK, Adrian Calvert, commented: “We’re really excited to have our iconic Revival and Retro ranges stocked in Urban Outfitters. To work with such a cool retailer and be able to reach an audience we feel our products will resonate with is exactly our strategic direction. Authenticity and heritage are key motivations for the Urban Outfitters customer and these product ranges very much tap into that.”
