OXO donates kitchen products to support the vulnerable this winter

American housewares brand, OXO has recently donated £16,000 worth of essential kitchen products to UK charity In Kind Direct, as part of the charity’s ‘Warmth this Winter’ campaign.

The campaign, which focuses on providing essential items to those in need during the colder months, ensures that vulnerable individuals and families have access to the necessary resources to stay warm and healthy this winter, including kitchen tools to cook a healthy, nutritious meal.

As well as cooking essentials such as the OXO Prep & Serve Kitchen Tool Set, Silicone Roasting Racks and Turkey Basters, OXO also donated a range of organisational tools including POP Containers and Magnetic Mini Clips to ensure food stays fresher for longer, helping to stretch winter budgets.

A charity founded in 1996 by HM King Charles lll, In Kind Direct redistributes donated goods and life’s essentials to charities, social enterprises and community groups throughout the UK in a bid to improve the lives of vulnerable people and is part of OXO’s 1% for the Planet partnership, where product donations are made to charities within the network across the UK.

“At OXO, we believe in giving back to the communities where we live and work,” said Maria Spagnuolo, senior marketing manager at OXO EMEA. “Our recent donation reflects our commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and families during challenging times.

“By partnering with organisations like In Kind Direct through our 1% for the Planet initiative, we’re proud to help provide essential items to those who need them most, especially as we head into the colder months.”
