Potters Cookshop in Hockley has created another showstopping Christmas window to bring a massive dose of festive cheer to customers in and around the town, as well as those following its social media channels.
Inspired by the classic story of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, the cookshop’s magical windows are festooned with an abundance of giant sweets, a few special Wonka Bars and a dramatic river of chocolate.
Depicting scenes from the story, a window full of bubbles cleverly incorporates some SodaStream products, while other windows feature a huge teapot and giant mugs filled with candy.
Showcased in a video on Potter’s social media channels on Sunday (November 7), the windows have attracted thousands of views in just a few days.
Meanwhile, in line with many other retailers, Potters has noticed that Christmas shopping is well underway for many consumers. “We are definitely noticing people now shopping for Christmas though electricals are slow as we think customers are holding on to Black Friday,” reports Tom Carter, director.
The shop held a hugely successful VIP evening for customers this week (November 9), supported by Le Creuset, Magimix and Tramontina.
