Progressive Housewares Retail Barometer: Deadline extended

Independent housewares retailers are being urged to participate in Progressive Housewares’ annual Retail Barometer, with the deadline extended to Friday 1 March, 2024.

“Now is your chance to have your voice heard,” commented Progressive Housewares publishing director, Rob Willis. “We want to hear from as many housewares indies as possible to get a true picture of what the housewares retailing sector is really experiencing and how the landscape is changing.

“Now in its 19th year, the Progressive Housewares Retail Barometer is the only survey of its kind. It’s an invaluable resource for the whole industry, to find areas where improvements can be made, where the industry is excelling and how life really is as a housewares indie. But in order to provide that, we need the support of independent housewares retailers and cookshops.”

Indies can complete the survey in one go – which should take around 10-15 minutes – or can return to it later using the same device.

The collective findings of the Retail Barometer will be published in the March/April issue of Progressive Housewares, but individual responses will remain confidential, and participants names and details will not be shared with third parties.
