Quiet Mark is the international approval award programme associated with the UK Noise Abatement Society charitable foundation. It encourages companies worldwide to prioritise noise reduction within the design of everyday machines and appliances and find solutions to noise problems.

Through scientific testing and assessment, Quiet Mark identifies the quietest products in a given category, making purchasing decisions quicker and easier. Awarded products offer the reassurance that they deliver a quiet user experience whilst providing an excellent core function.  Such products are ideal for open plan living, night usage and busy families.

Poppy Szkiler of Quiet Mark comments: “AirCraft’s PowerGlide was a particularly special find during our award assessments, being a unique new hard floor cleaning solution able to perform its core function with wonderfully low-noise disturbance.”

Meanwhile, Guy Fridja, director of AirCraft Home states: “We are thrilled to receive this award for PowerGlide and to be recognised as a company that takes noise pollution seriously, and to sit alongside some of the world’s top brands.”

AirCraft’s PowerGlide caused a stir when demonstrated to buyers at the recent Exclusively Electrical show.  It is capable of cleaning up to 20 square metres per minute, without the need for scrubbing and making cords, and the traditional mop and bucket redundant.

Guy Fridja explains: “The powerful rotating microfibre pads mean you don’t have to put your back into cleaning your floor. PowerGlide sprays fresh floor cleaner or pure water right onto your floor at the push of a button, ready for you to glide, clean and polish.”
