Rene joined the company in February as managing director for DKB Household UK. His previous influential positions include ceo for Victorinox Swiss Army, president of Wüsthof -Trident of America Inc and ceo for AllClad/Spring Switzerland.

Rene’s appointment follows a strategic review of the global business operations and will consolidate the senior executive function within the UK headquarters where R&D, marketing and supply chain teams are based. The move will ensure short channels of communication and swift decision- making: particularly essential in the current climate.

Rene commented: “I delighted to accept this opportunity to help define and drive the future success of the business moving forward. We have some great brands in our portfolio and look forward to further developing them to meet the needs of emerging market needs worldwide”.
