Staffordshire-based RKW has over 40 positions vacant after its recent acquisitions of Swan in July, and Wade Ceramics earlier this year.
Established in 1989, the family-owned business employs over 600 staff across offices in the UK, Hong Kong, India and China, and has a group turnover of over £200 million.
Swan has a strong British heritage dating back to the 1920s and has always been at the cutting edge of design. The brand invented the first electric kettle in the 1930s and became the UK’s number one appliance brand in 1968.
Along with the recent acquisitions, RKW is continuing to invest in its aggressive expansion into new overseas territories to develop its brands on a global stage. This is supported by a £10 million investment into a digital transformation project to bring cutting edge technologies and innovation strategies to the forefront of the business.
RKW managing director, Rob Sutton, commented: “Now is an exciting time to join RKW. We are proud to have onboarded two new British heritage brands in the last four months one of which being Wade, a Stoke-on-Trent firm that we all know and love. I am from Stoke-on-Trent myself and I am fully aware of the fantastic talent we have in our city.
“I encourage anyone looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced and dynamic company to get in touch with our recruitment team who can provide further information on the roles we have available.”
