In one of 15 windows under the theme of ‘Season’s Feastings, a tower of pans are displayed with the caption ‘Who’s doing the washing up?’
Lee McDonagh, managing director of Samuel Groves, shared images of the window on LinkedIn, saying: “Hugely proud of the team at Samuel Groves to be chosen and featured in the Selfridges Christmas window display which looks absolutely stunning.”
This year, Selfridges’ Christmas windows have been designed to celebrate the power of food to bring people together during the festive season. The theme runs across all four department stores, and as part of the campaign, the retailer will offer customers serving suggestions for setting up, dressing up, gift giving and merrymaking.
Santa and his team of Christmas pudding disco balls will be making daily visits to the retailer’s Christmas shop at all stores, also hosting events such as Breakfast with Santa in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
Meave Wall, Selfridges’ stores director, commented: “This Christmas is all about coming together with loved ones to enjoy cherished rituals. We’re inspired by the power of food in bringing people together and through our theme, Season’s Feastings, are celebrating what this means to us at Selfridges.
“With our iconic Christmas windows on Oxford Street, Christmas Shops in every store, and a line-up of fantastic entertainment, we’re ready and excited to welcome customers in to make their festive season brighter.”
