Samuel Lamont joins BHETA

The family-run household textiles manufacturer is the latest company to join BHETA.

Founded in 1830, Samuel Lamont was one of Northern Ireland’s foremost linen weavers, and it later diversified into textile printing and terry towel manufacturing.

The company gained the Royal Warrant both for retailing and for the supply of bed linen. Today, Samuel Lamont still manufactures in Ireland, but also supplements its ranges with the very best internationally sourced items, giving it s a global personality.

Samuel Lamont supplies a wide range of table linen, bath items, gifts, tea towels and kitchen textiles, including oven gloves, kitchen towels and tea cosies.

Seema Grantham, BHETA’s sector manager for housewares, commented: “Samuel Lamont is an historic brand with iconic status in its field. It is also expanding its beautiful range and I’m delighted that the company is joining BHETA.”
