The February 2025 edition of the show will feature exciting new markets, along with a strong presence from India and pavilions from China, Taiwan, Peru, Nepal, Pakistan, Hong Kong and the UK.
The new Egyptian Pavilion offers UK and European buyers a unique opportunity to source responsibly, showcasing the benefits of working with Egyptian manufacturers.
Many Egyptian factories now adhere to international labour and sustainability standards, including BSCI, WRAP and OEKO-TEX certifications, reflecting improved ethical practices. Additionally, favourable trade agreements and reduced tariffs from deals like the EU-Egypt Association Agreement, COMESA (Africa), and regional pacts with the Middle East make Egyptian-sourced goods more affordable and globally competitive.
The Indian Pavilion, in partnership with the Handloom Export Promotion Council, will highlight India’s rich textile industry. As the country’s second-largest sector in terms of employment, handloom plays a vital role in India’s economy.
From Taiwan, discover an innovative range of bamboo ceramics and eco-friendly packaging. Bamboo Ceramics is a line of durable tableware made from Bamboo-O, a patented, 100% home-compostable material. Additionally, Aromacup is a 100% home-compostable, reusable coffee cup—perfect for the eco-conscious, on-the-go coffee lover.
Returning from Peru, Sumaq Qara is dedicated to supporting female victims of terrorism and domestic violence. They offer a diverse collection of knit, embroidery, crochet and macramé products.
Showing commitment to setting and meeting green sustainability goals, China continues to appeal for its access to a huge labour pool, sophisticated factories and seamless supply chains. It is also home to thousands of smaller scale suppliers and makers keen to reach international markets.
Suzanne Ellingham, event director of Source Home & Gift said: “Each season, we work tirelessly to bring the best manufacturers, artisan designers, and technology providers from across the globe to Source Home & Gift. It’s both a great responsibility and a privilege to connect UK buyers with so many talented artisans worldwide.
“We’re excited to showcase incredible products and inspiring stories at this show. Source Home & Gift is truly a show created by the industry for the industry and this season’s show marks a significant shift in how retailers and brands source products. It is crucial to address the commitment to reducing environmental impact from the very beginning of a product’s journey. We aim to drive change, providing an opportunity for buyers to discover and be inspired by sustainable options.
“I’m also excited by the debut Ask the Experts feature which offers our visitors an invaluable opportunity to ask the questions that matter most to their business and gain actionable guidance and personalised advice to set their brands apart.”
