The revamped Spring Fair opens its doors this weekend (NEC Birmingham February 2-6, Everyday opens Saturday) with Hall 8 providing a showcase for large and small kitchen and dining suppliers.
Show highlights include two ‘Queen Marys’ who will be talking on separate occasions on the Inspiring Retail Stage (Hall 6). Mary Berry (fondly known as Queen of Cakes appears on Monday February 3 at 2pm, courtesy of Captivate Brands, and Mary Portas, aka Queen of Shops, on Tuesday February 4 at 1pm. Mary Berry will also be holding personal meetings with retailers to talk about her tableware ranges from Captivate Brands.
New launches in Hall 8 include the introduction of Dutch lifestyle brand, Gusta by My Gifts Trade (Hall 8 Stand C60-71). Gusta embraces an eclectic mix of glassware, porcelain, earthenware and bamboo with influences including the Mediterranean Spain and Scandinavia. Recognising the trend for outdoor cooking and eating, Gusta also has a BBQ range.
Spring Fair stalwarts making a strong presence in Hall 8 include Anniversary House, Eddingtons Haus, Horwood, KitchenCraft and Portmeirion Group, T&G and Grunwerg. The latter is presenting Global’s 35th anniversary special editions.
Smidge wlll present over 100 products designed to reduce single-use plastic and promote sustainable yet stylish living.
