Following the successful launch of the new Ambit Rainbow range at the show, Sue Ure is offering bespoke development services.
Buyers at Top Drawer were particularly interested by the Ambit collection – a steadily expanding range of porcelain tableware in black and white clay bodies.
The collection’s defining characteristic is the tactile and visual contrast between the glossy glazed surface and the matt unglazed surface areas. The separation between the two areas is emphasised by a fine line of bright unglazed colour.
Ambit Rainbow was launched at Top Drawer and its appeal was confirmed both by visitors to the show and by its recent naming as a finalist in the Gift of the Year Awards.
Already well experienced in bespoke design development (projects with Tate, Royal Academy, Toast), the two Sue Ure brands work together to offer bespoke development at two levels: Sue Ure Ceramics specialises in making small runs, which can be rapidly and economically upscaled by Sue Ure Maison.
This is an avenue with many possibilities for exclusive collections for Horeca clients, or with those wishing to combine Horeca with a retail dimension.
