The Inspired Home Show announces content programmes

The line-up for the Inspiration Theatre and the Cooking Theatre have been announced for The Inspired Home Show, taking place from 17-19 March at McCormick Place, Chicago.

The Cooking Theatre will feature celebrity favourites on Sunday, chefs partnering with brands on Monday, and Chicago culinary personalities on Tuesday.

On Sunday, Rick Bayless, Fabio Viviani, JJ Johnson, Gemma Stafford, Ashton Keefe, Steve Dolinsky – The Food Guy on NBC 5 – and Daniel Espinoza, who will be running a tequila pairing.

Monday’s line-up features Jess Feller of Aged & Infused, along with Juan Carlos Carvallo, Tramontina; JJ Johnson, Gibson Homewares; Lars Liebisch, Fissler, Patrick McMurray, Swissmar, Sarah Thrush, Superb Sealing Solutions; and a demonstration by Airtender.

On Tuesday, appearances include Alex Keeney of Cooking Skills & Social and Dee Dee Saracco, the Gravy Lady.

The chef demonstrations will begin at 11am on Sunday and continue through to Tuesday 19 March. During the three days of presentations, the national and local celebrity chefs will be demonstrating their talents using products found throughout the show.

The Cooking Theatre, located in booth S2373, Dine + Decor Expo in the South Hall, is sponsored by WoodForChef by JMN Enterprises.

The Inspiration Theatre sessions will explore such topics as omni-channel marketing strategies; supply chain insights; intellectual property law; merchandising best practices; and global consumer and retail trends.

Sessions are open to all show attendees and exhibitors with the commitment to bring relevant, topical and actionable content to the show.

The theatre will present 14 sessions during the show. Sessions begin at 9am until 4pm, with breaks at 10am and 1pm for the keynote sessions.

Six programmes focus on consumer trends, including:

  • Refurbished housewares products: Unlocking new markets, not cannibalising sales, with Chris Lubick, Verdi Commerce, Sunday 17 March 9am.
  • How influencers, AI and Amazon are shaping the home & housewares category in 2024 and beyond, with John LeBaron, Pattern, Sunday, 11am.
  • Learning to listen: Satisfying the insatiable consumer, Tom Mirabile, Springboard Futures, Sunday, 12:10 pm.
  • The future is InSight, Dawn Evans, IHA; Tom Mirabile, Springboard Futures; Moderated by Peter Giannetti, HomePage News, Monday, 9am.
  • North American housewares market trends: Identifying opportunities for growth in Canada & Mexico, Pam Wood and Renee Badioloa, Circana Mexico & Canada, Tuesday, 9am.
  • Restaurant Delivery, Grocery Shopping & The Future of Home Cooking, Nick Stene and Catalina Flores, Euromonitor International, Tuesday, 12:10pm.
