Thermos’ Eco kit

Thermos UK has launched Eco Cool, a new range of sustainably designed lunch kits and cool bags made entirely from recycled PET bottles (rPET).

Not only does this recycling use up to 50% less energy than making PET from scratch, but by reusing existing bottles it is also keeping waste out of landfill.

The Eco Cool range includes a single and a dual compartment lunch kit and four sizes of cool bag. Eight bottles have been recycled to create each of the smaller bags, whilst the largest uses 27.

Nick Kime, md at Thermos UK states: “Sustainability is something we feel very passionately about – it’s a key reason we focus so much on quality, as we want our products to be reused for many years to come. The Eco Cool range goes a step further, incorporating recycled plastic bottles into its production.

Not only does this recycling use up to 50% less energy than making PET from scratch, but by reusing existing bottles it is also keeping waste out of landfill.”
