Thrilled” to be EIH finalists

Suppliers that have reached the Excellence in Housewares Awards Product finals are continuing to share their jubilation following the announcement last week.

“Fantastic news! Innovation is central to our business, and we have placed significant investment in our new product development to address the recent huge shifts in consumer buying trends, so to be nominated in four categories is just fantastic. It’s a testament to brilliant people and teams across our business,” states Claire Budgen, Lifetime Brands Europe’s commercial and marketing director.

Abbie Bleasby-Voice, marketing manager at Dexam enthuses:We are thrilled to be finalists in not one but two product categories this year! Both our Forest and Forge range of knives and Morris & Co Strawberry Thief textiles demonstrate our commitment to providing innovative and reliable products with a British heritage. We wish everyone the best of luck and have our fingers crossed for the finals.”

Meanwhile, Lee McDonagh, managing director at Samuel Groves says he is: “Absolutely thrilled for the team at Samuel Groves to be recognised in the Excellence in Housewares Awards. The last few years of hard work, perseverance and our continued investment into UK manufacturing has allowed us to develop new product ranges aimed specifically at the end consumer and retail markets. To be recognised so quickly with two of our most recent ranges has made me and my team very proud. It proves our strategy of investment to produce the very best products in the UK, while keeping a keen eye on their environmental impact, is resonating within the industry.”

At Original Products, md Paul Spencer comments: “We are really pleased to receive this award nomination for the whisky taster set which was certainly the most popular of all our new lines at Exclusively last week, especially after Scarlet Opus gave us an On Trend award. Our partner’s Final Touch of Canada will be equally delighted since this set has taken almost two years to design so perfectly.  Thankfully we anticipated demand and are already well stocked in preparation.”
