Veg out with Jamie

Coinciding with his new book – out on August 22 (Veg – Easy and delicious meals for everyone) and Channel 4 TV series, Jamie Oliver has a new range of tools from DKB.

Laura Bruder, senior product manager for chef brands, DKB Household UK comments: “DKB Household has worked with Jamie Oliver for several years now and each time we have a new collection there is a real buzz with it!” She describes the new range, along with Jamie’s book and series as great source of conversations for retailers and their customers.

Laura explains: “The inspiration behind the new book and TV show – and this range – is the growing interest from Jamie’s own audiences for ‘meat-free’, ‘healthier’ and ‘more veg’. The most visited recipe page from Friday Night Feast Series 6 was the Vegan m’hanncha from the Joanna Lumley fully-vegetarian episode and the first-ever vegan episode (Romesh Ranganathan) was the highest rating episode of Friday Night Feast series 7.”

She adds: “The nine products in the range are designed to make prepping fruit and vegetables easy and exciting and includes Potato Ricer, Mango Splitter and 3-in-1 Speed Peeler.”

User-friendly features include the Spiraliser’s non-slip grip, easy rotational action and a unique easy release mechanism, which means there is no need to unwind screw thread after each use

Jamie comments: “Anything that helps us all eat more veg and fruit is a beautiful thing to me! My lot love courgetti ribbons and carrot tangles, and using the spiraliser is all part of the fun. “ He describes his mandolin as a “passport to amazing salads and next-level potato dauphinoise.”
