Huski Home is one of the innovative companies put to the scrutiny of a collection of consumers on the TV show The Customer is Always Right – to be screened on Thursday April 30 at 3.45pm (BBC 1).
Now in its second series, the programme’s format is summarised as follows: ‘Britain’s best entrepreneurs put their precious products to the customer test. Customers will unbox, test and score to find the day’s winner.’
Episode 9 puts Huski Home’s biodegradable lunchbox in the spotlight. The sustainable lunchboxes are made from rice husks that are not only a waste product but also a potential biohazard if not repurposed or disposed of properly. A family business, Lisa and Luke Scott head up Huski Home.
Also on a housewares theme, the same episode of The Customer is Always Right features a tool for getting coffee grounds out of cafetieres.
