Wayfair teams up with Lorraine

Online housewares and home furnishings retailer, Wayfair.co.uk has launched its latest campaign with ITV host and brand ambassador, Lorraine Kelly.

In the third year of partnership, Lorraine stars in two new television advertisements for Wayfair, where – accompanied by her border terrier, Angus – she showcases the retailers’ expansive range of homewares. The ads show some of Wayfair’s kitchen and tableware in situ.

Wayfair says that its TV and online advertising strategy has been instrumental in increasing its brand awareness, which is now at +60% in the UK, up 30% in the past three years.

“Working with the team at Wayfair is always absolutely brilliant, and it truly is an incredibly efficient all-in-one destination to shop for furnishing any space,” said Lorraine Kelly. “Having decorated my own new home in the past year, I’ve been amazed at how Wayfair has something for absolutely everyone.”

Lorraine reveals that her favourite room in her house is the kitchen “as it’s where my family comes together.” While her husband Steve does all the cooking, Lorraine states that she does her “fair share with the tidying up!”

The TV personality admits that she loves to sit in the kitchen and chat while husband Steve prepares a meal. Lorraine adds: ”I always find when people come to see us that everyone always ends up in the kitchen; it’s where we feel the most comfortable.”
