Who’s your shopfloor hero?

Who has gone the extra mile in a retail business over the past year, or even the past few weeks or months? The Retail Employee of the Year – one of the Excellence in Housewares Awards 2020 (organised by Progressive Housewares) is usually awarded to a ‘hero of the shopfloor’ in recognition of outstanding service and achievements.

This year’s nominations might also include ‘heroes of customer service’, reflecting the role of online kitchenware retailers in fulfilling consumer demand for housewares during the recent months of lockdown.

To nominate, please provide a name, role, retailer and some words on why this person deserves the Retail Employee of the Year Award. You can nominate via the online portal NOW by clicking HERE.

You can also contact Jo Howard, editor of Progressive Housewares and HousewaresNews.net on joh@max-publishing.co.uk or 01295 8111853 by Wednesday (August 5).

Top: Last year’s Retail Employee of the Year was Eamonn Ferry from Leekes, who was presented with his trophy by Mhairi Coull on behalf of sponsor Tramontina.
