Woodbridge Kitchen Company celebrates 40th anniversary

Woodbridge Kitchen Company is celebrating 40 years in business as its new shop – Aldeburgh Kitchen Company – reaches its first anniversary.

Current owners Paul Venediger and Kirsteen Torrance took over the Woodbridge shop in 2015 and opened a second outlet last year.

Paul told East Anglian Daily Times: “This is certainly a summer to celebrate. We have been running the business for nearly 10 years, the Woodbridge store turns 40 and our latest addition, Aldeburgh, turns one.

“We are immensely proud of everything we have achieved in this time, particularly the way we have adapted to sell online and expanded into new premises in a tough economic climate and following the major disruption of the pandemic.

“Our customers have supported the business through the challenging times as well as moments of triumph and we hope they continue to stay with us for years to come.”

Kirsteen added: “Small businesses like us don’t have the endless resources like out bigger competitors, but for us, this is about creating exceptional experiences for our customers.

“We try to give our customers a special shopping experience and in this, our 40th year, we continue to go all out.”
