Worldwide networking at IHA’s Global Forum

Connect GLOBAL, a virtual presentation of the International Business Council’s Global Forum starts tomorrow (Tuesday May 18 to Thursday May 20). The event features overviews of key housewares markets around the globe, and registration (for all sessions, or individual 90-minute sessions) is free to all current IHA regular members.

Michelle Dickinson, managing director of Burton McCall will deliver a keynote presentation on Wednesday (May 19), prior to the UK & Ireland Key Market Update by IHA’s UK representative Mark Chapman. Other market overviews will cover Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain and Taiwan.

A session by Blue Tiger International (May 20) will explore supply chain management and tariff mitigations. Daily strategic problem-solving sessions will offer small group networking opportunities for attendees to discuss issues with their peers.

Tomorrow’s schedule includes a retailer update on the Latin American market featuring Mercado Libre. Wednesday looks at some key European markets and Australia, Canada, China and Taiwan.
