Zyliss recognised for sustainability at Ambiente 2025

Zyliss has been recognised by the Ethical Style by Ambiente programme for its 5-Piece Utensil Set in the Eco-Friendly Materials category.

The accolade highlights Zyliss’ commitment to creating cleverly designed products that combine aesthetics, functionality and sustainability.

The Zyliss 5-Piece Utensil Set is made using wheat straw material – a renewable byproduct of wheat processing that would otherwise go to waste. By incorporating this innovative, eco-conscious material, Zyliss has reduced the use of virgin plastic in the utensils by up to 50%.

As a recipient of the Ethical Style label, Zyliss is proud to be recognised as a brand at the forefront of sustainable design and manufacturing. The label is set to be a key feature at Ambiente 2025, where Zyliss will showcase the set in a special presentation.

This recognition follows on the heels its Eco Award win at the Excellence in Housewares Awards, a celebration of products that champion reduced single-use plastics and sustainable living. These back-to-back accolades underscore Zyliss’ unwavering commitment to driving positive environmental impact within the kitchenware industry.

Heidi Thomas, head of marketing at DK Household Brands, which includes Zyliss, commented: “We’re incredibly proud to have been recognised by Ethical Style at Ambiente. Sustainability is at the heart of what we do, and awards like this validate our efforts to create products that not only perform beautifully in the kitchen but also contribute to a healthier planet. We’re excited to share our vision with the trade audience at Ambiente 2025.”

For those attending Ambiente 2025, Zyliss invites you to visit its stand to explore the award-winning utensils and discover the brand’s wider range of innovative, sustainable kitchen tools.
